Getting your Child Motivated to Learn German

1.

One of the most important aspects of language learning is: MOTIVATION!

I’ve been trying to learn Spanish for a long time…On and off. Finally I motivated myself to get into a HABIT. Now I practice Spanish grammar and vocabulary every day.

I experienced the same when I was studying English. I had to get into a habit of learning it every day in order to succeed. I used podcasts, youtube videos and songs! As you can see, it kind of worked! 🙂

And that’s exactly what children need. Make my German videos to a weekly or even daily occasion! 5 minutes of your time can change a lot.

2.

Be a ROLE MODEL and learn German as well 🙂

The videos and materials are directed at children. However, I’m sure that you will pick up many new words as well. The only thing I can write is: Go for it! Learn German with your child. Also, show interest in your child’s progress!

What makes a good Role Model? Passion for language learning, be confident and communicate with the child.

3.

Last but not least: FUN!

There will be an additional section about fun language learning activities. Use my videos and Games as additional sources for your child’s German language experience. In the end that’s what language learning is: A great experience!
